NKT Photonics Group at international exhibition in CopenhagenPublished 13 September 2002
ECOC (European Conference on Optical Communication) is a combined annual conference and exhibition. ECOC 2002, the 28th such event, was held from 8 - 12 September and hosted by Denmark.
But although launched on the domestic stage under the title of 'Visions in Light', NKT's new Photonics business sector was presented to a truly international audience. 7,500 international visitors representing all parts of the optical communications sector attended at Copenhagen's Bella Center, the venue for ECOC 2002.
While the companies NKT Integration, Crystal Fibre and Koheras exhibited their advanced products at a 100 m2 stand, NKT was also represented on the ECOC conference agenda with two scientific papers which, among other things, underlined the application potential of crystal fibres.
