Low noise gives high profilePublished 7 October 2003
Nilfisk-Advance has come up with a solution that substantially reduces the noise traditionally associated with vacuuming. In the new Nilfisk GD 2000 series of vacuum cleaners the sound level is around 10 dB below that of the company’s other models. To the human ear, this 10 dB reduction is perceived as close to a 50% decrease in noise.
Noise gives stress, and we are all familiar with that caused by other people’s noise at inappropriate times. This also applies to noise produced by vacuum cleaning.
In mid September 2003, Nilfisk-Advance added a completely new design of low-sound vacuum to its range of commercial vacuum cleaners targeted at professional operators for use in environments like offices, hotels, hospitals, libraries and other public buildings.
The GD 2000 was developed to optimise vacuuming cleaning in several areas - primarily for the people who actually use the machine, but also for those in its vicinity during use.
