NKT’s main business philosophy is described in NKT’s Vision and Mission Statements.

It was a natural consequence of this business and management philosophy that led NKT to sign up to the UN Global Compact in March 2009. This initiative sets out rules for company conduct in the fields of human rights, labour standards, corruption and environmental measures. In the coming years, these UN principles will form the basis of NKT’s efforts in corporate responsibility. Our main attitude to these areas is set out in NKT’s ethical guidelines. These guidelines must be respected by management and employees alike in the individual NKT companies. The guidelines are further elaborated on in a number of specific policies. These policies and guidelines together set out NKT’s work in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Many of the policies are administered locally by Group companies, but Group Management follows up to ensure that they are actually carried out.
As a listed company, NKT Holding A/S is subject to a number of rules that ensure any information that may affect our share price is published simultaneously on all stock markets in Europe. The rules are administered by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority. One such demand is that NKT publishes information on its website on how it handles its duty of disclosure.
