| We consider corruption to be a major problem for the international community. As a company with global activities we operate in parts of the world where corruption and facilitation payments are very rare, but also in parts of the world where they are a regular occurrence. | We wish to compete on fair and honest terms. We will not tolerate our employees’ involvement in corruption, and facilitation payments will not be tolerated. In this period of reporting we have not observed cases of corruption in the Photonics Group. |

Firm statement on facilitation payments
Occasionally we are met with “requests” for facilitation payments. We have not taken part in such transactions during this reporting period and we have decided not to accept facilitation payments in the future. We are aware that this can result in loss of potential orders.
