NKT Holding owns - on a direct or indirect basis - more than 100 companies in all parts of the world. Some started as NKT companies - others joined the group by acquisition.
Being active within one of four main business areas of NKT - power cables, floor care equipment, fiber optical components/products and flexible offshore pipes, the companies form the basis for the NKT Group's business activities.
The NKT Group's 2010 revenue was 14,5 bnDKK. 80% came from sales outside Denmark.
End 2010 NKT employed around 9,200 people of which around 80% are based in companies outside Denmark.
NKT Flexibles is owned by NKT Holding (51%) and Subsea 7 (49%)
