NKT is one of Denmark's large industrial groups.
The Group consists of some 80 companies - wholly or partly owned subsidiaries. Most
of these are foreign companies.
The NKT businesses are as follows:
- NKT Cables Group - cables for energy and power installations
- Nilfisk-Advance Group - cleaning machines
- Photonics Group - optical components
- NKT Flexibles - offshore pipelines
31 December 2010 the NKT Group employed around 9,200 people (incl. the 51% owned NKT Flexibles) of which 82% are based in companies outside Denmark.
The Group's turnover 2010 was 14.5 bnDKK. 92% came from activities abroad.
