The NKT centenary in 1998 was celebrated with the inauguration of a quite unique Exhibition Centre.
Located in NKT's Priorparken site in Brøndby, the Centre is accommodated in former production workshops, which have been renovated and refurbished to house:
- a permanent display - the NKT Heritage Collection (Elektroteket) showing the development of the three Danish electrical engineering companies NKT, LK and Nilfisk from the start of the 20th century to the present day
- meeting facilities for guests
An adjoining workshop contains storage facilities and archives for objects, records and documents that are of value to posterity.
The centre is primarily used by NKT companies for entertaining of their guests. However, it is possible also for other parties to book a visit to the NKT Exhibition Centre.
On a yearly basis around 4,000 people visit the NKT Exhibition Centre.
